If yesterday was day zero, day one is going pretty well. I guess I expected to be in more pain than I actually am. I don't know if arthroscopic surgery really isn't terribly painful -- or I have an unusually high tolerance for pain -- but I feel no worse than I did the day after I did Steelhead in 2006. Bruised, beat-up, sore, exhausted and nauseated, sure -- but nothing intolerable.
I'm sure that when I'm allowed to shower (Sunday!) and take off my bandages (tomorrow!) I'll start feeling more like myself, and maybe even ready to leave the house for an errand or two with Brad.
