Food, folks and demon pets

We had a housewarming potluck tonight -- no matter that we moved into our house in July of 2006 -- and it was a very good time. All of our friends heeded my "no chips" rule (I believe bringing Tostitos and dip to a potluck is on the same level as second-degree murder), and we ended up with lots of good food and almost no leftovers. One thing I'll say about our friends -- they can take down some guacamole like it's nobody's business.
